Description

Vice Sniper, JE Software’s mobile action sniper game, will take you on a colorful journey to the gangsters of the Vice City. This game is designed in a graphic style that will remind you of the 80s, with straightforward FPS gameplay and a wide variety of missions. So, if you like offline shooting games, you’ll find it familiar but refreshing.

Vice Sniper is a mobile first person shooter game developed by JE Software AB. The game targets players that enjoy simple yet dramatic action sniper games. Set in a crime-filled city based on the 1980s, the gangs, mafia, and police are forever at war.

In this game, players take on the role of a professional sniper carrying out missions involving killing dangerous criminals, protecting important targets and being a part of the police raiding team. The main gameplay of Vice Sniper revolves around precise aiming, achieving objectives in each different level, and progressively unlocking a great combination of a weapon system that includes sniper rifles, shot guns, handguns and many more modern guns.

You can play the game fully offline, so you can entertain yourself anytime and anywhere. Vice Sniper is a mobile shooting action game with quick, varied missions, and easy to learn control system, which makes the game clean and easy yet still interesting.

The first thing I noticed when playing Vice Sniper was the incredibly satisfying feel despite the extremely simple controls. No need to remember too many buttons, no complicated combos, just aim – shoot – complete the target. It sounds simple, but after playing for a while, you realize the game knows how to create tension at just the right moments.

Some levels seem easy, just shooting a guy standing on a balcony, but there are civilians, security guards, and cars driving by, and a wrong shot will ruin the mission. In later levels, the mission isn’t just about shooting to finish.

Sometimes you have to wait for the right moment, sometimes you have to observe the target’s path, and sometimes you have to choose who to shoot first to avoid being detected. I remember one level where I had to shoot a crime boss who was having a meeting in a bar, the neon lights flashing constantly, the target moving, and I waited forever before daring to pull the trigger.

In reality, when I experienced Vice Sniper, I didn’t think the game would offer so many guns. Initially, there were only a few basic ones, which were okay to shoot, but not satisfying. When you unlock better sniper rifles, shotguns, and pistols, the feeling is completely different. Each gun offers a unique feel; some have strong recoil but high damage, while others are lighter, easier to control, but require multiple shots to take down a target.

The great thing is that the upgrade system isn’t overly complicated, but it’s enough to make players think. Upgrading firepower, accuracy, reload speed… sounds familiar, but after playing for a while, you’ll start wondering: “What should I upgrade first to suit my play style?”

One day I upgraded all my damage, then in a level with many fast-moving targets, I regretted it because my gun was powerful but hard to hit. It’s moments like these that make me realize the game isn’t just about shooting, but also has a little bit of strategy, very real, very cute.

The most noticeable thing about Vice Sniper is the very “Vice City” atmosphere, with neon lights, beaches, bars, slums, skyscrapers… you can smell the crime scene right away. The graphics aren’t hyper-realistic, but enough to create the feeling that you’re standing on the roof of a building, looking down at a street full of cars and suspicious people.

After playing for a while, I started noticing the small details. Some scenes take place at sunset, the golden-orange light shining through the scope, making the targets look blurry and indistinct, causing me to miss several times. Other scenes are at night, the streetlights reflecting on the wet road, creating a beautiful yet tense atmosphere. And for some reason, those moments made the game feel much more alive, not just a series of repetitive missions.

One thing I really like about Vice Sniper is that it can be played completely offline. It sounds simple, but for a mobile game, this is a huge advantage. Sometimes, while waiting for a ride, waiting for a friend, or when the internet is unstable, opening the game and playing a few levels makes time fly by. No constant ads popping up in the middle of a game, no need for cumbersome account logins – just open it and start shooting.

After playing for a while, I realized this design is very “user-friendly.” Each level only lasts a few minutes, enough for quick entertainment, but if you have more time, you can play several levels in a row without getting tired. One day I intended to play one level for fun, but ended up sitting for over half an hour because I was curious to see what the next mission would be.

Vice Sniper is not a top-grossing game but it does know how to keep the player engaged with its uncomplicated sniping gameplay, good pace, and colorful crime city setting. After a while of playing this game, I found this a type of game that can be played right away with little preparation and the perfect exciting dose.
